Since the pandemic, job interviews have undergone a profound transformation, challenging long-standing beliefs and practices. My clients suddenly found themselves cut off from the opportunities that had propelled their careers forward. Face-to-face networking opportunities have significantly reduced, and traditional rules or recruitment, such as the importance of the perfect handshake, have become obsolete.
As a career coach specializing in job-hunting, I face the rapidly evolving recruitment landscape alongside my clients, learning from their experiences in real time. Even the formats for face-to-face interviews changed. With Zoom and Teams, voice projection and expressive facial gestures became crucial skills to master in this altered environment.
